As part of the Foundations of Leadership course, NUFYP students participated in the Student Leadership Challenge (SLC) projects, where they applied leadership principles to real-world social issues.
The “The Voices of Tomorrow” team (Group 16) collected and donated 67 books to the “Baqytty Shanyraq” fund, providing valuable educational resources for children in orphanages and raising awareness about their needs.
Project Umit (Group 1) focused on supporting children in SOS Children’s Village. They organized a bake sale, raising 51,000 KZT to purchase essential goods for the children.
The Senim team (Group 1) promoted equal opportunities for people with disabilities. They hosted a seminar with Emin Askerov, CEO of “GreenTal”, a social enterprise employing people with disabilities, and screened “Paralympian”, a film about perseverance in sports. The team also visited Orda Autism and Bravo Pizza, a social café where vulnerable children receive hands-on training.
SLC projects equip NUFYP students with leadership skills, encouraging them to take responsibility for meaningful social initiatives and contribute to the community. These projects serve as an inspiring example of how young people can create real change.
We are proud of our students and grateful to everyone who supports their initiatives!
