Natasha Sinclair is from North Yorkshire in the UK. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Educational Studies with History, she took a CELTA teaching qualification and started her teaching career in 1997 in Tokyo, where she was employed in a language school teaching both adults and children. She then moved to a training company in Tampere, Finland, where she tailor made and taught ESP courses for a diverse range of companies and industries, becoming head teacher for the English tutors. After around 5 years in Muscat, Oman, she joined a university in Kuwait to teach EAP, and became Deputy Head of Foundations in charge of faculty. While there, she studied for her MA in Adult Literacy and ESOL through Lancaster University in the UK, and after completion moved to the United Arab Emirates. There she taught EAP to Foundation students, and set up and managed the Academic Support Program as ASP Coordinator. In August 2019, she came to Nur Sultan to begin her position as EAP Teaching Fellow at Nazarbayev University.
Her main interests are travelling as she loves to visit new countries, and reading.
