I’m from Borovoe, Kazakhstan. I did my Master’s degree in the UK and graduated with Distinction. I lived in York for 6 years and worked in British universities and schools. I’ve been teaching for over 7 years now and I love my job as I get to meet people from all corners of the world.
I love travelling. In 2017 I did a 3 month tour around Europe and visited 14 countries. I also visited my friends in Japan, South Korea and Morocco. While living in Europe, I climbed the highest mountain in Wales, went kayaking in Loch Ness in Scotland in search of the famous monster, saw the horse racing tradition in Siena (Italy) which is one of their oldest traditions, had Glintwein and Wurst sausages for breakfast at the German Christmas markets in Nuremberg (which made me happy for the rest of the day), posed in my kimono as a model for tourists in Tokyo (as they thought I was Japanese), mastered the art of making and pouring Moroccan tea, slept under the stars in the desert, fed elephants in Thailand, saw the Angkor Wat temple sunrise in Cambodia, nearly got run over by a motorbike in Hanoi, Vietnam and many more adventures I had so far. Ahead are even more exciting things to explore and enjoy 🙂
I moved to Nur-Sultan in January 2018 and since then I’ve travelled all over Central Asia and my saw many beautiful places in my home country too. In my free time, I learn German, play the guitar and dance Bachata. My motto in life: enjoy your life to the fullest and stay positive no matter what.
